304 UPS Employees Are Being Laid Off In OKC

As a result of the partial, temporary closure of an Oklahoma City United Parcel Service facility, all 304 employees working at 901 S Portland Ave. will be laid off right after the holidays. A WARN notice is given to workers 60 calendar days in advance of plant closures or mass layoffs affecting 50 or more employees or 33% of staff required for employers with 100 or more employees under federal law. Layoffs will take place Jan. 15.
