A Pottawatomie County murder and a missing person case in 1983, has finally been partially solved. 19-year-old Melody Ann Jones disappeared but her husband’s body was found in their Earlsboro home, the victim of a homicide. Turns out Ms. Jones remains were actually recovered in 1998, but despite numerous tests the medical examiner’s office only recently was able to determine, they were her remains. No arrests have ever been made in the case.
