An arrest warrant has been issued for Pamela Lucas, the former Jones assistant city clerk. Lucas is accused of taking over $59,000 four years ago. The state auditor’s office has conducted an investigation, and law enforcement authorities say Lucas confessed to embezzlement in 2021 and confessed a second time one year later.
