a one-thousand dollar ticket in your future

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol will be doing more enforcement this week of the state law requiring motorists to move over or slow down when approaching an emergency vehicle on the shoulder of the road.   OHP Commissioner Tim Tipton says speed remains the biggest threat to troopers or wrecker operators.

The ticket for breaking this law is one-thousand dollars.
