Another case of misspent tax dollars found by the state Auditor

State auditor and inspector Cindy Byrd has found more financial wrongdoing, this time at the Payne County Sheriff’s Office.

A forensic audit sought by county officials found an administrative assistant in the Sheriff's Office misappropriated or made questionable expenditures over 137,000 dollars.

Byrd says the audit found that Linda Farley used taxpayer money for scores of personal expenses for 11 years.
