A woman known for her animal advocacy and the arts has succumbed to cancer. 54-year-old Louisa McCune also had a long career the magazine world including stops at Harpers and creator of Oklahoma today. Ms. McCune was Director of the Kirkpatrick Foundation which gives grants and conducts charitable activities.
