Bill to lock daylight savings time passes out of a State Senate Committee

Sponsor Blake Stephens says most people like the idea of sticking to one type of time.

This is a trigger bill that would become law once federal lawmakers agree to it. Currently, 19 states are in favor of ‘locking the clock’ to daylight savings time.
