In honor of the thirty fourth anniversary of the Americans with Disability Act, Oklahoma lawmakers and advocates met at the state capitol to recognize those with disabilities. According to the CDC, thirty eight percent of adults in Oklahoma have a disability. Signed into law July twenty sixth, nineteen ninety, the ADA prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in everyday activities.
