cHEROKEE nATION tAG aGREEMENt Is uNLIKELY

Time is running out on a long-time car tag agreement between the State of Oklahoma and the Cherokee Nation.  Both Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt and Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. describe the chances of renewing any agreement as "unlikely at this point”.  They believe negotiations will go down to the wire, and even then, they weren't sure something could be agreed to at the last minute, especially during the holiday season at the end of the year.
