The Choctaw Police Department is offering a service to its community. House checks for those who are vacationing or out of town can call police and ask officers to check their homes during the holiday season to prevent holiday related crimes. Police say they get about three to four requests a week during the period from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Contact Choctaw police non-emergency number to ask for the house checks.
