Deer Collisions are More Frequent this Time of Year

Motorists are reminded that this is the time of the year when a lot of deer are active, and several deer versus vehicle collisions occur. Henry Petty, with an auto repair center in Shawnee, says the cost of repairs can be quite high.

Petty says the repair center averages 50 vehicles a year damaged by collisions with deer.
