Some Democrats worry that the state Supreme Court’s rejection of two abortion laws will lead to more “extreme” legislation being passed. Radio Oklahoma's Dale Forbis provides details.

State Representative Forrest Bennett said the court followed the law and made the right decision.

Republicans, including Governor Stitt, House Speaker Charles McCall, and President Pro Tempore Greg Treat, disagree.

Bennett said he looks at this situation as time wasted.

“Their job is to make sure what we have done is constitutional, and it wasn’t,” Bennett said. “This is resources and time wasted.”
