In August of 2021, an Oklahoma City police officer pulled Ernest Antwine off the front porch of his mother’s home during a domestic incident. Antwine suffered from mental illness and severe drug abuse and has been arrested over a dozen times.

The officer allegedly dumped Antwine in an area known as “no man’s land.” Minutes later, Antwine walked in front of a pickup and was killed. Oklahoma Watch reports that a lawsuit has now been filed.
