Angry eclipse watchers from Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma want answers about gridlock on westbound I-40 near Vian. ODOT says a 10-mile stretch of the interstate had been closed due to a crash weeks ago so that engineers could investigate. The result was a tremendous backup, and ODOT opened the lane up temporarily to relieve the heavy traffic.
