19-year-old Gabriella Long was hit while in a crosswalk. OSU Police Chief Leon Jones says it is a sad situation.
“It is not something easy that we do every day, but we do it,” Jones said. “We just want to make sure we do our best for the families and everyone else who is involved.”
21-year-old Tyler Peters has been arrested in connection with the hit and run.
