Demand for charging stations for Electric Vehicles is growing. ODOT’s Bryce Boyer says the public comment period is coming to a close on how much distance between each charging station should be.
“We are currently working on our NEVI plan,” Boyer said. “That is the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure plan, and part of that is hearing from the public on what they think of these chargers, where they want them, if they don’t want them…”
There are over 300 charging stations in the state, including 23 between I-40 and the Red River. 58 people have given input on EV charging stations at this website - www.Oklahoma.gov/EVOK
