Budget hearings for state agencies are now underway at the state capitol. In a senate hearing, Health Commissioner Keith Reed told lawmakers two thirds of his budget comes from federal grants, which are now in limbo.
The major health programs involved include immunizations, WIC, Child abuse prevention, maternal and child health and nearly 60 other programs.
