House Bill 3331 Intends to Increase Penalty for Selling Nicotine to Minors

Store owners who sell nicotine to minors could face more severe consequences after a measure passes through the Senate Health and Human Services Committee. House Bill 3331 will increase the limit the Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission may impose on store owners.

Senator Jo Anna Dossett says the bill would increase fines to 250 dollars for the first offense and to 1,000 dollars for a fourth offense within two years.
