If you have lead pipes the EPA says replace them

Residents across Oklahoma receive letters saying they could have lead pipes. The letters are part of a new federal standards to inform homeowners they may have public or private lines with lead pipes. Homes built before 1989 more than likely have lead pipes. If you get a letter you need to contact a plumber to verify whether or pipes are safe.
