During an appearance on FOX Business Network, Governor Kevin Stitt brought up the idea once again, to get rid of personal income tax in Oklahoma.

“We want to get rid of income tax and get that to zero, but also, I am advocating to get rid of our grocery tax…,” Stitt said.

There is no word yet on whether or not the governor might call the legislature into a special session on this issue. Stitt says he would scale down the tax one at a time- not all at once.
