The insurance companies that took over Oklahoma’s Medicaid system have created a crisis. That today from doctors and other health care providers who spoke at the state capitol. State representative David Bullard of Durant says there were warnings the system was not ready when it went into effect the first of April. Several health providers told of never getting a straight story on when or if they will ever be paid and many are on the verge of shutting down because they’ve gone over two months with little to no reimbursements.
