A Cleveland County judge has rejected a self-defense plea connected to a deadly road-rage shooting. The attorney for 63-year-old Mark Kottka is using the stand-your-ground defense under Oklahoma law, but the judge denied the motion. Kottka was still charged with first degree murder in the shooting last July of Christian Gurrola on Main Street in Norman.
