The Native American from Oklahoma at the center of a landmark US Supreme Court decision is out of prison. Jimcy McGirt walked free over two weeks ago on May 7th after a sentence to 30 years behind bars. The plea deal gave him credit for time served. McGirt admitted to sexually abusing a child 28 years ago as part of the plea deal.
