Meeting held to Define Roles Between Corporation Comission and Dept. of Public Safety

Another Oklahoma task force has the job of determining who will enforce laws at Oklahoma ports of entry and scale houses.

The meeting was yesterday for the state task force on motor carrier regulation and enforcement. Its main job is to clear up the confusion about “who does what” between the Corporation Commission and the Department of Public Safety.

A second meeting will be held in a couple of weeks, and a final list of recommendations is due to the Governor and legislative leaders by December 1st.
