The Tulsa Public school district will be adding metal detectors at every secondary site and incorporating wanding and daily bag checks starting in mid-October after Fall Break. Superintendent Ebony Johnson says the delay is to give the district time to get enough equipment and staff in place to conduct those checks quickly and efficiently.
