Michelin has been producing tires at its plant in Ardmore since 1970, but this is coming to an end.
Fourteen hundred people work at the Michelin tire plant in Ardmore, but this will change by the middle of next year. Employees were informed that the company plans to phase out tire manufacturing at their Ardmore facility, leaving it as a rubber mixing facility.
