minimum wage petitions are submitted

Oklahoma is ranked 47th in the nation for the number of low wage earners.  That may be about to change.  Backers of the Initiative petition drive to raise the minimum wage have turned in nearly 180-thousand signatures to the Secretary of state. They need about half of those to be found valid and after a review by the attorney general, the issue could go to a vote of the people in November.
