Money Loss Expected From FIrst Switch to Cashless Turnpike Pay

The deputy director of the Oklahoma Transportation Department says the state’s turnpikes will lose money at first when going to cashless pay.

Oklahoma Department of Transportation Director, Joe Echelle says a new approach started last May.

“…a 10.9, almost 11 million dollar loss, and 4.4 million transactions on tribal tags…,” Echelle said.
