Police say the body of 46-year-old Amanda Harms was found in the backyard of a house on Thursday. Harms had been reported missing last weekend. She had been teaching math at Muskogee’s 6th and 7th grade academy for the last two years.
Authorities have not disclosed how she died, and district officials say counseling services will be provided for any teachers or students requiring help with the loss of Amanda Harms.
