The National Sand Bass Festival is underway this week in Madill. The festival run this week through Saturday night.
The family-friendly tradition began in the 1960s, then was discontinued in 1974. Since it has restarted, in 1988, the festival has drawn thousands of tourists annually from across the country to Madill, Oklahoma.
