Elk City leaders are looking forward to the construction of a new airport terminal by the summer. City Manager Tom Ivester says matching funds from the Oklahoma Aerospace and Aeronautics Commission is making it possible.
Ivester says the aim is to increase business jet traffic into the airport. Many of the private jets are from oilfield executives or those who are looking to buy land in the area.
