In Norman police are investigating a possible hate crime. The incident happened late Saturday night on Campus Corner where Harrison Hipp says he and his girlfriend were walking when they were approached by someone who asked to see Hipp’s hat and yarmulke. Hipp says the man then took his cowboy hat and yarmulke and tackled him to the ground and then others joined the suspect hitting him. Hipp’s also claims the suspects were calling him anti-Semitic slurs while they beat him.
