While taking steps to help too-dry farm operations, the Emergency Drought Commission finds its status could be changing to permanent.
“I think that is a tremendous opportunity for our producers here in the state,” Arthur said. “There is always going to be some type of drought in the state of Oklahoma.”
The current drought has already lasted for more than two years.
