Oklahoma is set to execute Emmanuel Littlejohn this week, unless Governor Stitt grants clemency. Littlejohn has been on death row since 1992 when he was convicted of a deadly Oklahoma City robbery at a convenience store killing the owner, Kenneth Meers. In a separate trial Glenn Bethany was also convicted but given life in prison. Stitt has only granted clemency for a death row inmate that was Julius Jones in 2021.
