Oklahoma Makes Strides Toward Tobacco Prevention

The American Lung Association released a new report showing Oklahoma is making strides when it comes to tobacco prevention and cessation.


The Lung Association gave the state of Oklahoma two “A” grades for policies to prevent and reduce tobacco use. The state also received two “F” grades for the strength of smoke-free workplace laws and ending the sale of all flavored tobacco products. Oklahoma also received a “D” for the level of state tobacco taxes.
