Oklahoma is ranked in a study by Forbes as the 10th highest state in the nation for drunk driving. A House-passed bill has now cleared the Senate Public Safety Committee that DUI court would not be offered to a person on their fourth DUI charge.
There was some opposition to the measure from Senators who expressed concerns about locking people up instead of getting them help for an addiction.
