Oklahoma’s Secretary of Agriculture doesn’t want beef from Paraguay allowed in the U.S.

Oklahoma’s Secretary of Agriculture, Blayne Arthur, has signed onto an effort with agricultural leaders from seven states urging U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, to put a new rule on hold that would allow those foreign beef imports.


The states want a full inspection of Paraguay’s efforts to reduce animal disease spread in the U.S.
