There are no projects in the state now, but applications have already been filed. Oklahoma Secretary of Energy and Environment Ken McQueen said they are watching states such as North Dakota and Wyoming to learn from their successes and mistakes.
“It really gives us an opportunity to build a better mousetrap,” McQueen said.
Stakeholders have been attending a meeting today at the Hamm Institute for American Energy on the topic.
