Twenty-one-year-old, Juli Busken had just completed her college career at the University of Oklahoma when five days before Christmas in 1996, she was kidnapped, raped, and murdered.
The crime went unsolved for years before DNA solved the case, linking Anthony Sanchez to the murder. Sanchez says he is innocent and that his father was the real killer. Sanchez is set to be executed on September 21, 2023.
