Oklahoma State Parks in Dire Need of Funding

Oklahoma Tourism Executive Director Shelley Zumwalt says without additional investment, the state parks system is at a breaking point.

Zumwalt tells lawmakers she has signed 21 emergency declarations in the last 12 months to deal with repairs in maintenance and other growing needs. She says more than 11 million people visited state parks in the last measurement, spending 354 million dollars.
