Oklahoma University researchers have developed a new pneumonia vaccine, which is being given to humans for the first time. The research comes from the laboratory of Dr. Rodney Tweten in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Now, the safety, tolerability, and immune response of the vaccine are being tested.
