A bill prohibiting state agencies from using state funds to organize, endorse, or engage in communication that promotes the LGBTQ Pride Month has advanced. State Representative Kevin West calls it the Patriotism, not Pride Bill.
HB 3217 also prohibits any flag that recognizes sexual orientation or gender identity from being displayed by a state agency on state property.
