A legislative task force proposes moving Corporation Commission transportation enforcement officers to the Department of Public Safety. Three members of the Corporation Commission believe that would dismantle the state’s successful trucking enforcement program.
This a recommendation from the task force; ultimately, it will have be passed by the legislature and signed by the governor to take effect.
