Ransomware Attack Struck Great Plains Medical

Early in September, the Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City was the victim of a ransomware attack.  The facility now says over 133-thousand people are being notified that their personal information was compromised.  The hackers apparently had access to the hospitals records for three days before it was discovered. Some patient information was lost in the attack.
