Return to Capitol For Lawmakers Later This Month

Oklahoma lawmakers return to the Capitol later this month, starting with the Senate a week from today (07/17/2023).

The Senate will be trying to overwrite two vetoes by the governor after falling short by a single vote last month. Although it is not official yet, the House might be back in session on July 31st. State Representative Andy Fugate said there are reasons for the session.
