Some strong words, but no scuffles or criminal charges emerging from this month’s meeting of the Oklahoma State School Board.

The board heard from the public for about two hours before taking up more agenda items. State Superintendent Ryan Walters said questions about accreditation for Tulsa schools will be put off until August.

"Tulsa Public Schools has been plagued with scandal," Walters said. "They have been one of the worst performing schools in the state of Oklahoma."

Another big agenda item, Walters said, is a follow up making sure that schools are stopping for a daily moment of silence.
