The long-sought aviation goal of perpetual flight appears to be very near, thanks to an Oklahoma based company. SkyDweller Aero was co-founded by native Oklahoman Robert Miller. The plane is a carbon fiber craft with a wingspan of a 747 but weighs the same as a pickup truck. It can carry hundreds of pounds of sensitive intelligence gathering equipment and has the potential to remain airborne for weeks or even months at a time. It is solar powered with state-of-the-art batteries.
