The state auditor submits requests for her office during the first pre-legislative session budget hearing at the Capitol.
State Auditor Cindy Byrd told the Senate Appropriations Committee Subcommittee on General Government and Transportation members about the need for another 5.5 million dollars for some expansion plans.
Byrd was followed by the head of the State Industry Development Authority and the State Treasurer on Tuesday.
