Even some democrats agree with the Governor that people in state prisons who were in the U.S. illegally are costing the state lots of money. Now Stitt says he will have a plan when President-elect Trump takes office, to begin deporting an estimated 526 state prison inmates. Stitt offered no details on how much that would cost tax payers and it’s unclear if the state can even legally deport anyone.
