Oil and Gas Tax Collections Down

Oklahoma’s tax collections from oil and gas production have been declining for a year and new forecasts don’t hold out much hope that will change anytime soon.  Analysts at Morgan Stanley have lowered their global oil demand forecast for the rest of this year and Saudi Arabia has lowered theirs for next year.  Storage in Cushing’s oil hub is down to just over 28-million barrels, from nearly 34-million a year ago.
